New USB version – Connects directly to PC USB port, no special programmer/adapter required.
High-quality, high-performance replacement for E F Johnson 023-5300-980 /023-5300-98002 / 250-5300-106 (USB) cable/kit. This cable offers reliable, consistent programming performance without many of the frustrating software/firmware/hardware interdependency issues often reported for the various EFJ programming interface/radio/PC combinations. 
Also replaces the obsolete RS232 serial 023-5300-000 / 023-5300-001 Remote Programming Interface (RPI) and 023-5300-005 programming cable, 250-5300-004 / 250-5300-008 RPI/cable kit, USB cable 023530098002, etc.
 
Unlike most other cables, no RPI (Remote Programming Interface), batteries, AC-adapter or 25-pin adapter is required, this connects directly to PC or laptop USB port.
